Case Study 1
Our client started business as a telecoms consultancy delivering major integration projects to UK-based telecoms providers.
Increasingly they recognised that other sectors faced similar challenges with technology integration and had diversified into the retail, transport and public sectors. Trading for 15 years with an international reputation, a blue chip client list and ambitious growth targets, the original branding was limiting their scope; they wanted to move forward with a refreshed identity which positioned them more effectively to meet new opportunities.
Marketing2Business’ approach was to carry out:
- In-depth telephone interviews with clients past and present to understand exactly how the client had added value
- Market research to provide insight into competitors brands including positioning statements and how they were supported, and then testing this information against first hand experience in a competitive situation
- Internal branding workshop with the core team to understand key strengths and identify solutions to weaknesses
This resulted in Marketing2Business
- Creating a strong, enduring brand identity based on skills, attributes, expertise, and successes, and which clearly differentiated them from their competitors
- Developing a brand positioning which resonates with clients operating in diverse sectors but who shareg the challenge of integrating technology to deliver sustainable improvements in business performance.
Marketing2Business were retained to launch the new brand identity via a website, brochure, case studies, and updated logo under their Cool Collateral programme. Although too early to see bottom line results, the client testifies to the ‘profound improvements’ and feels that ‘the future direction of the company is now clearly mapped’.
