Case Study 1 - Marketing2Business client, Winner, Surrey Business Awards

Principal judge Michael Evans, MD, The Priory Partnership recognised the achievements of all finalists but said that ‘the winner had clearly quantified the significant growth achieved during the previous 12 months'

Well known to Marketing2Business through a Brand Refreshment project, this rapidly growing services company appreciated the contribution to growth that consistent marketing activity could deliver.

However the Director responsible for marketing had neither the time, nor expertise available at the right level to drive the process forward effectively and asked Marketing2Business to provide support on an ongoing basis.

Marketing2Business's approach was to

  • Agree business objectives across the short, medium and longer term
  • Develop a fully integrated marketing & communications strategy in line with objectives
  • Build a 12-month rolling marketing plan detailing marketing activity, cost, timescale, responsibilities and key performance indicators.
  • Work closely with the Director and her team to implement the plan
  • Review progress on a monthly basis and roll the plan over

Working with this client under the Marketing Mentor service not only resulted in an increase in turnover by 25%, but also in the business being named as a Winner in the Surrey Business Awards 2006/7
